Purpose of the team:

•   Discuss development of process control guidance
•   Coordinate / communicate areas of process control emphasis

Key objectives:

• Facilitate process control awareness
• Identify process control best practices
• Define and analyze process control related risks
• Communicate process control lessons learned
• Improve process control in the NASA supply base

Focus:

•   Project/program quality and the supply base

Process:

•   NASA process control team provides information too, and recieves recommendations from the Space Shuttle Process Control Focus Group (PCFG)
•  NASA process control team meets face-to-face once a year (during QLF meeting)
•  Members coordinate on an as needed bases basis (in support of best practice release, ect)
•  NPCT utilize PCFG resources where available and appropriate (videos, posters, ect)
•  NPCT members support conferences, supplier visits, and other related awareness activities
