Mission Statement

Purpose of the team:
- Discuss
development of process control guidance
- Coordinate
/ communicate areas of process control emphasis
Key objectives:
- Facilitate process
control awareness
- Identify process
control best practices
- Define and analyze
process control related risks
- Communicate process
control lessons learned
- Improve process
control in the NASA supply base
Focus:
- Project/program
quality and the supply base
Process:
- NASA process
control team provides information too, and recieves recommendations from the
Space Shuttle Process Control Focus Group (PCFG)
- NASA process
control team meets face-to-face once a year (during QLF meeting)
- Members
coordinate on an as needed bases basis (in support of best practice release,
ect)
- NPCT utilize
PCFG resources where available and appropriate (videos, posters, ect)
- NPCT members
support conferences, supplier visits, and other related awareness activities
